Hi All,
My name is Mick and I am a grader operator with the Mackay Council. I am 57 years old and am originally from the UK. Having spent 9 years in New Zealand, my family and I have called Australia home for the last 11 years. I served with the British Army for 23 years joining as a boy soldier in communications and leaving as a sergeant major serving with special forces.
I have owned a number of interesting rides. 1940?? Francis Barnet ex military bike with a 250cc Villiers engine, 1962 Vespa 150cc Scooter!!!!!! 1960?? BSA 250cc Starfire. 1980 Honda 250cc Trail bike.
My first Harley was a '79 Sporty. (Purchase for my 50th birthday) 1000cc ironhead which I rebuilt and customised myself. I then moved on to a 2006 Heritage which I again customised and it ended up looking more like a Fatboy!!
Due to some circumstances I had to sell the Heritage so am currently without a bike. However, I am looking for a Forty-Eight if I can sell my trailer to finance it!!!
