The tank is made by Ultimate Engineering it's a 21 ltr tank. My bike is a 2006 VRSCD there were two models made that year mine had the smaller tank the later model that crossed over into the night rod special but was still called a night rod that model had the 19 ltr tank the rear of mine is a 180mm but i run a 200mm tyre.......

    Hi,
Hope you can help. I have 2006 VRSCSE2 and want to convert its tank to a bigger one. I have checked the ultimate engineering website and it is still available. What's your experience so far? Did you install it yourself and did you buy the lockring tool to help you with the install?

    https://www.fredy.ee/v-rod-5-gallon-tank/

Fitted one of these tanks last year. Slightly smaller than the Unlimited Engineering tanks but also less fucking around. I get 250kms to a tank full, would probably get more if i tuned bike, plugs and pipes still run black, (one day)..

took tank out and used rubber strap oil filter tool to remove cap, That was before he offered special tool.

Ordered tank, paid using paypal, tank was delivered in 7 days from Estonia during covid lockdown.....got any queries just ask.
