What job will pay more next year?
What do you think you will enjoy more?
If you have applied for a different job, does that mean you are unhappy in the current job?
will you get to ride the bikes?

You must be interested if you applied - do you see yourself in Bike Shops for years to come? If so here's a foot in the door as they say.

Can you negotiate comparable salaries? What impact will the change in role have on living expenses? Which role has better longevity? Which role has a brighter future? It may seem stupid, however would be worth taking a pragmatic approach and jotting down a few of the pro's vs. cons.  If it has been a life long dream to work with bikes, the answers simple!  However, if you're concerned about losing a few bucks per week and its going to impact on life, family etc................than you may want to reconsider!!

I'm with you Half, but you've got to get the balance right............$50 bucks a week, yeah..............$200 bucks a week...............you'd end up broke!!

I'd donate my left nut to work on bikes for a living.

    thanks all for the advice.....

I had my interview today, went well too.....the 2IC of workshop said he allways wanted a welder on the payroll.......I allways wanted to make my own frame too.

I'm thinking Ill take it if i get it, more travel time too work but that just means more riding time.....
