About to buy an Acewell digital speedo setup from VPW and I'm curious if the connectors are just plug n play? I have a Super Glide Sport which has tacho/speedo along with indicator lights etc seperate to the fuel guage which is mounted on the tank. Just wondering how it all bolts together and what happens to the existing odometer reading?...

Definately not plug n play. I think you need to setup a new speedo pick up as well.
Dakota do a plug in unit for '04 on Dyna. I've looked at a few for my '00 FXDX as well, but it's not easy.

i had one on a fxdx i had, you could see everything but i could never get the damn speedo to work, tried everything, even new pickup, bloody thing never worked, if i had a choice i'd spend a little extra and get a Dakota, i've got one on my chopper, never had a problem

Thanks chopa, might hit up an indy for a price on the install.

monarofan, not a fan of the look of the Dakota, prolly nice on a chopper. Would like to stay with a largish round type speedo.

Thx speedzter, will look into it. I'd like to mount it off to one side similar to the joker machine kits they do for sportys.
