Derby for lunch?

Had my 2010 XL883C for just six weeks, and through circumstances only riden a few hundred km - so off to Derby (from Broome) for lunch yesterday (460km round trip) to give it an outing

It was VERY hot on the road (39C) and very windy and then I found my favourite eatery (The Wharf cafe) was closed - oh well, any day on a bike is better than no day on a bike .

Bike was great and ran really well, but I have to say one hour was the absolute maximum I could do in the saddle before a break. Might need to purchase an Air Hawk for the longer rides - anyone any experience of such on a Sporty Custom?

My solution was, ride than ride some more 'till the hard parts in the seat soften up and the soft parts on your ass hardens up.
