Location of oxigen sensor

Looking at a 2012 SuperGlide I noticed that the MoCo has moved the bungs for the oxigen sensors quite a bit down - away from the heads. Also noticed that they changed the wiring - looks more sturdy. Anyone know what's going on here?? I just swapped the stock pipes on my 2011 FXDC for a 2-1 Supermeg and it has the bungs high up - like the 2011 stock pipes.

wondering if the location of the bungs change behaviour sufficintly to render TTS maps for 2012's useless for 2011 and earlier...

    thnx

Wide band sensor. Also they are heated O2 Sensors on the 2012 bikes. They don't need to be so high up on the exhaust. TTS doesn't have the maps for the 2012 bikes yet and I think it might be due to the change is the sensor position and type that is giving them a hard time

It's not the new 12mm sensors because all the touring bikes have them and the TTS is working fine with them. Harley brought out a new ECM for the 11 softails and 12 dyna's so Steve has to crack the codes and then build maps to suit all the different builds. It all takes time and Steve being a perfectionist he wont release anything until he's a 100% sure it works with no motor melt downs.
