I waited until a very cold day..

dental floss down the back (ooh.. minty).. about quartey way down, then they literaly just popped off with no residue. Being cold the tape was really hard, like old chewy.

Dont be scared jus get the bloody things off.

I used a soak in the sun then a steady hand holdng a stanley knife. coupla lil knicks in the paint but nothing a touch up brush couldnt fix. Besides its not like the forks dont get peppered by gravel from time to time anyway... I used to be a bit more precious wth my bike until i had to rice 2 ks behind a water truck on a freshly riped up road...

Just grab em nice and firm, and turn em clockwise or anticlockwise, they come straight off. Nothing needed except your hands. Clean any sticky shit off with turps. I done the four reflectors on my rocker in less than 5 mins. No stuffing around with all the other crap. Simple as.Oops, Already said that

WOW! Six pages on howta remove reflectors?! I dragged fishing line behind them and cleaned the gunky stuff with eucalyptus oil. I haven't read every page but I'll bet someone already suggested that?

But I see Philthy uses turps - I've still two shinies to remove so I'll try that instead of the euc oil. Maybe we can get it to seven pages?!!

Just pulled mine of by hand.

Then dip a clean rag in the tank to get the sticky shit off

Saves looking for the other stuff

    Didnt leave a mark

I polished my legs for hours, but got sick of it and went back to working on ma bike :P

I used just a heat gun to get my reflectors off, no fishing line to lave scratchy marks etc. Once heated, they pretty much squealed and fell on the ground. job done.

By the way.........reflectores on the forks are gay!!!!!! But thankfully, they are a gayism that is only law in USA. They are just fitted as standard and most here dont bother to remove them.

I have yet to do this on my 2013 Fat Bob. But it will be done very soon so thanks for the tips and tricks. I reckon it will make it look a lot cleaner.
