Just about to embark on a frame up build.

Would like to know about engineers in the Sydney area who would be good to do the report required to get it registered.

I am just about to get the frame built and wanted to make sure i am on the same page as the engineer from the beginning as i am sure it will differ from state to state.

Any advice appreciated and i hope to do a build thread which may help anyone else looking to do the same thing.

I am getting some mixed opinions on this one.

Are you supposed to get pre approval before you start a build?

If you intend to build a custom vehicle, I suggest that while you mok up the vehicle, talk to an engineer and a Blue Slip person to confirm what is required to complete your project and comply with the regualtions.

Oldmate you might want to duck down the local RTA and grab
the forms and fill out, Lodge and wait for a reply...
They will tell you what needs to be CHANGED from your plan
and ease your way with engineer and rego.
