The site has been running on the new dedicated server since Friday and I'm pretty happy with the results.  Site seems quicker and it's deffinately running more stable.  People may have noticed the "Who's Online" list being a little bigger now, this is because the site doesn't need any more scheduled restarts like it did before.

The new dedicated server means I can beef up memory and disk space as the site grows.

what happended last night KC.... logged on but blank page

I changed a setting a while back which caused the read/not read indicators not to work properly.   Then I changed that setting back but as a result peoples browser cookies went haywire.  All it needed was for the site cache to be cleared and re-start of the site.  All good now.  Unfortunately every time I change the sit's settings to increase performance or to add features you run the risk or also causing problems, I try to fix these pretty quickly and I vow not to make any more changes for a while.

Will the bar be coming back anytime soon>????????
