Interstate bike to be registered in NSW (1975 FXE)

    Ive just been in contact with a bike owner in SA, Im in NSW. Its a 75 FXE (sorry im wasnt sure if I could post another persons ad.)  To register the bike in NSW I know I need a Blueslip, Ive dont these with cars before. I asked for the comliance plate and he said

    "it doenst have a compliance plate, it is registered by the engine number only"

    Is this correct for bike registration and in NSW also for a bike of that age? I wasnt sure, so its best I ask about pre-compliance & compliace details

    Cheers Chopa.
    Currently it has SA rego expiring in December.

    Its Got a frame number, but they dont record it on the rego papers!
