I like the quote they say the good Australian dollar has helped people purchase Harley's

Not helping the price their still twice the price compared to the US pricing, I know there is import duty & tax but they get it at a good rate but they really dont pass this on to the customer. Some bikes have gone up, look at the sportsters they have increased because there a good seller.

Yeh , go for it Harley spend millions trying to get the younger crowd to be loyal customers , . Then rip them off and lose them like you do with your loyal customers . Can just imagine the 25 year old who paid Peter Stevens $20,000 for his kawazaki , being told its worth 8 grand 12 months later against the 32 grand road king

Whatever Harley  Davidson does, I really don't give a fuck. (Except for their rip off $18.00 postage charge calendar!) They must be doing something that all the others didn't do to last 108 years. It'd be the end of the world if HD shut their doors. No offence to anyone, but If you think their too dear, don't buy one. Simple.

I know HD is just a business but I'm grateful them for just existing. I LOVE mine! BTW I saw an article the other day that said some big global businesses refer to Australia a Treasure Island because the market here will pay extra for all sorts of goods. Global pricing will soon stamp much of that out.
