Happened to a guy from MCA a few years back. Lights at Narrellan rd. Got his bike back as it was followed by a D car to a farm outside Mittagong. Busted a shit load of stolen Bobcats, jet skis etc. 1% thing as it turned out

Yes ive heard a few similar stories over the years, so it does happen, just not a common thing.

    Hey Obi,

Do the HDs have a cutoff if they are dropped? I know there are bikes on the market that cut out if they are leaned over too far. Basically if you drop it, it will kill the motor.

Either that or stall it in the panic and run. :)

That is a fucking shitty way to end a ride, its the first I have ever heard of that. I have heard stories where blokes have pulled up in a ute, thrown the old girl in the back and drove away but never just @ a set of lights in broad daylight!! Nice bike to 94 Springer, bet the bloke who owns is devastated (happy he wasnt injured, fucking miserable his pride and joy is gone)

Ive read in the US forum where guys actually have mobile phones hidden on the bike somewhere just to be used as a tracker....

apparently charged straight from the bike battery

so basically for the cost of a cheap phone plan you can locate ya bike....

    not bad eh?
