Hi guys,

I've been the very happy owner of an Iron 883 since I bought it, and have conducted a fairly comprehensive make over during the past two years to a point where I am really happy with the finished looks and feel - which I reckon are very unique. The bike has been a flawlessly reliable performer in every regard and turn heads and get positive comments everywhere I go.

But I've hit a proverbial brick wall with the mods and now I'm feeling the year to move on to another model and relive the joys of modifying a stock bike to a finished project all over again.

 

So, do I sell my pride and joy? I can't make up my mind.

 

 

Keep it and buy another bike. I'm very close to hitting the wall with mine, however I know that no one else will value it in the same manner as I do, particularly being my first ever Harley. If you can, highly recommend keeping her! Its a great looking bike and im positive you'll enjoy getting it out of the garage for a quick strap here and there, regardless of what you're riding at the time.

I'm planning on a new bike in the next year or so, have a house to finish first and once we're done I will be out looking for another bike. This time round though I will be buying something much bigger, most likely a VROD, but will always have the sporty that got me into Harleys=D .

I got to the stage where i was running out if things i could think of to mod on mine. So i brought a streetbob and started modding again
l just like being in the shed and pulling crap apart. My brother rides the iron now.

only sell it if you need the funds to start the next one. Maybe you need to keep it, and find a broke-arse 80's - 90's sporty or superglide that needs rescuing. Or set yourself a real challenge, and find an old shovel to resuscitate.

Do you have something in mind to buy next ?

Sadly, I can't afford to keep this bike and buy the new one. I do know what I want next. While it has a Harley engine it is not a Harley...
