Fast recovery Chrissie! thats a baratard! specially at this time of the year.
Welfare Update
Compound fracture to Tibia & Fibula low down near the ankle.
Surgeons pinned, plated and screwed everything back together.
No other injuries.
Patient was discharged from hospital today.
Estimated 6 months to full movement recovery.
In good spirits; but not looking forward to the future arthritis.
The Sportster I'm told is in fairly good nick with very little damage.
Welcome Home.................
Hope you get well soon and your leg back to normal, before you know it you will be back up and on the bike talking about your war wounds.
Best regards Mick.
Terrible to hear, thanks Burra for the write up and give her our best wishes for a speedy recovery. I hope the moron gets what he deserves and I hope the cops dont get to give it to him. Do all the physio you can bare too Chrissie, a break there takes a lot of recovery (3 years now from mine) do lots of swimming walking in pool (helps cos its hard to walk on and water aids support) All the best and hope ur back on 2 wheels again soon.
Niso if ya read this please pass on our best to Chrissie.... hope the cage driver suffers a similar fate.....
Hi guys, Kristen here
Thanks for all the well wishes. Wasn't ignoring ya, posted a reply on Niso's pictorial 'update'. Am really over the low life thing, karma will catch him, he can't escape that. Me, I'm getting used to the reality that everything hurts and it's all going to take longer than I thought. At least with the proper cast on I can sleep well now, and when the wound has healed I'll even be able to swim on hot days. Yeah!
First year since '03 I've missed the Long Flat run, am doomed to joing the women at 'Cocktail Flat'. Am guess'n I'll be the only sober one there. Sounds like just where ya wana be eh! Anyways, happy face is go'n on now, gett'n picked up soon. Cheers and thanks again.
haven't been on here for a while...bloody hell not good...hope all is well.
