from memory think you just have to be a Sud African and have a spare rocket and use the cheek buts as a launch pad........ but make dam sure that once the fuse is lit you know when and how by how much you need too release the tension on those cheek buts  I believe in this case the tension was such that the rocket never left the launch pad so to speak
