Overall Great pipes....
Pros - Great finish good quality crome
- Nice meaty sound without the anoying crackle or jake brake sound (baffles in)
- Well finished sealing faces (some pipes have untidy welds at the edge of the head end)
- Good full heat sheld design, never seem to burn black sh!t on off your boot heal
Cons - On my 91 model (and I'm guessing all pre 96 models) the front O2 sensor plug (on multi fit pipes) doesn't alow suficiant clearance for the standard rear brake resiviour.
- They point at the ground and blow dust everywhere. (usualy when your riding into a bike show after polishing your fingers to sh!t)
- They are low and if your bike is lowered don't even think of trying to pitch it into a corner, and if the missus is on the back you can only go around the block anti clockwise.
- If the girl is on the back your pretty well garanteed that the bottom of her boot is sitting on the top of the rear pipe.
- The rear brake master cylinder, frame rail and shocks are easly visable when the bike is pitched onto the stand.
All in all a great looking and sounding system, not exactly the best choice for a spirited run up a windy road.
