    G'day Guys,

On my recent route 66 tour i bought a set of chrome switches for my Deuce. I put them on over the weekend and when i went to start the bike, the accessories fuse had blown. I thought that was pretty weird as you dont have to remove any wires or even disconnect any wires to change them.

Have any of you guys changed your switches and found the same problem??

    Cheers,

    Dan.

mine kept blowing headlight fuses ,and after pulling all the lights apart and checking for bad earths or shorts i still couldnt find my problem. my next step was to pull the switch block apart then cut open the heatshrink and check each wire. while there was no marks or holes in the heatshrink there were two wires in side that had sqaushed and split and were contacting each other, taped them up and bobs your uncle all good !
