Hey Campers....
Yup...another newbie
Considering buying my first HD atm.....tough decision times....deciding Monday on my bike of choice....yikes!!!
Thought I'd hook into a HD group to expand my lack of knowledge ..I am serious I know Jack!!!!
Prefer a Aussie group too!
So what can I say...I am a girl last time I checked
Had my RE license 2 years and had trouble finding a bike I can touch the ground on!
Yup I am vertically challenged!!!!!
Anyway....I'll hunt through the forum till I find where I can ask my questions
FHB
the last time I heard theletters FHB was from my old man.... bringing up 7 kids and sending them to boarding school from age 6 was no mean feat .... FHB = Father Hold Back... he was happy to make sure kids were satisfied first... lol..
so you have RE... make you another West Aussie then.... welcome to this fine upstanding .... lets cut the crap... this mad house of a forum
so my first question..... are you going to be taller than our resident gnome who liveth down yonder in the depth depths of the south?
have you taken any of the bikes for a test ride
G'day FHB, welcome from Sydney. Good luck on the bike hunt
Well..what can I say......
I feel welcomed
Ta for that
Well it appears Red has a fetish for girls and bikes...either that or he is just a plain ole perv!!!!!..so i wont dissappoint...I happen to have a pic of me sitting on a drag bike so I'll chuck it up in a min...and you be the judge Red to see if I am a girl or not.....
So my height is only 5ft 3ins....hence the height discrepancy...and I gotta say I have to have both feet on the ground even if it is a overrated thought!!..lmao...I have been known to fall off bikes....only when I was learning...even did a bitta 4wding in a sand dune mastering my figure 8's...dont ask it wasnt a good sight!!!
Havent booked my open yet as Ive had too much difficulty locating a bike that fits...thought I'd get the bike first then book the license.....
Now Unkey Ho is Scorpo our resident dwarf gnome???....being SOR myself might even be neighbours....
Now as for this insanity aslyum....geezzz.....I'll feel right at home...I am good for a stir and give as good as I get...so watch out fellas you may have met your match!!!!
Ok....worked out how to chuck a pic up so here I am....any west aussies will know where I am at....yes I have a interest in drag racing...loveeeeeeeeeeeee standing in the staging lanes get smoked......breath deep i say!!!!!..love the sounds and the smells of the drags....
Unkey Ho forgot to say too....FHB=Funny Honey Bunny......I was nick named this by friends...I just use FHB now..but hey once you all get to know me you may wish my father did hold back the night I was the fastest sperm!!!!!..bwahahahahahha!!!!!
I deeply desire to one day sit in the lane and wait for the tree and drop it outta the hole.....what a buzz aye
Gday F H B welcome to the nut house, Youll have a ball
Welcome from sunny North Queensland. Go for a sporty likes Toxic's, im not a big sporty fan but i think that they look shit hot, and they are good for the height disadvantaged....i'v done some drag racing years ago in my Torana V8 and loved it but as any good story ends, i had to sell because of the wedding ring.
Please don't sell youself short - pardon the pun.
Make sure you ride a dyna / softail as I reckon you'll surprised how manourverable etc they are compared to Sportster.
If you asking me... you need... orange and black 2008 Dyna LOWRIDER.

Hi FHB the Torana was a LX Hatchback, 308. I put in a toploader gearbox and a nine inchdiff and the motor put out about 400HP. The last organised race that i had out on the street(totally legal of course) a bloke at the start said that my front left wheel came off the ground, so i was pretty happy about that, oh and i beat the RT Charger by shit loads. The only time that i went to the proper drags was in Townsville 370km away, i had to get fuel on the way as it wouldnt get there on one tank of fuel and only got to do 2 runs and pulled a 14sec quarter at 100mph with the engine being 2 weeks old.The Missus and i still miss it to this day, but i love the bikes now.
