Hi
i have a 2004 screamin eagle 100th anniversary deuce
could anyone tell me where the id tag is located
normally the tag is on the downtubes but on my bike and all the other screamin eagle models no visible tag
have checked under the seat but no luck
Craig
Perhaps it was filed off or maybe on the tube under the seat
Hiya mate
Yeah i checked the frame number and the engine number before purchase and ran the frame/vin number through Harley Davidson database
Found the details of the original owner in USA
Hiya Razor
Spoke to Ian in spare parts at one of the Harley Davidson Screamin Eagle store in Melbourne
There ad was in Heavy Duty magazine
Left it in my truck at work will grab details and post tomorrow night
Hi Dan
My bike was sold to me as a Screamin Eagle 100th Anniversary Deuce FXSTDSE2
I have had the vin number run through Harley Davidson computer and the database confirmed the description
2nd month 2004 was the build date first purchased in California USA
My bike does not have any 100th anniversary badging but i also looked at a 2003 model in gold colour and it did not have any 100th anniversary badging
I have purchased parts for my bike from both Morgan and Wacker Newstead and Gasoline Alley Springwood and no one has corrected my on my description and they used my vin number to order a spare key as i dont want to use my gold key
Hope this answers your question
Hiya Dan
There are 3 colours for this model that i have found so far
Gold Blue Yellow
There are differences between 2003 and 2004 models
The biggest one is the size of the back tyre 2003 160 2004 180
Other cosmetic changes like the 2004 has a different speedo
The CVO forum has a bit of info on our bike just takes a while to search for it
Hope this helps Dan
P.S. I also have the gold key that was an option
Geelong Harley Davidson 03 5223 2102 ask for Ian in spare parts
Any Harley dealership can do this search but i found Ian very helpful
Good Luck mate
