Any thoughts on the radiator fans coming on almost all the time on days of 20c and over? Is this the norm? I would like to fit a temp. gauge for monitoring temp. Any one fitted a gauge? What brand? Any ideas?

mine sitting at traffic lights even on mild days the fans will come on , but go off soon after moving again ..... seen a water temp gauge on GR Customs web site that sits where horn cover is that looks pretty cool ...... i had clothes sent from them to Adelaide with no problems

yeh if your riding in a lot of traffic through town etc they come on a fair bit, shouldnt come on at all while on highway or constant speeds

I'd still like the security of a temp. gauge, just to monitor the engine etc. Fans do turn off when you are mobile. Bike has done 3400 km's, and have been told that the engine won't free up until around 9000-10000 km's., don't know if this is true or not.

Ralph mine has done about 10k but comes on all the time around town at the lights ect

Wonder if it's adjustable in the tune....or atleast....if somebody can view a tune and tell you how they're set to come on and off?
