I have a SE 113 in my Deluxe which I added just week before the release of the 120R for softail came out ( Pissed right off as a 120r crate was that close to the 113  installed) and now I'm now looking at going that extra mile and up upgrading to a 120R.  I have read both install and part sheet for 113 and 120r kits and I've worked out what I'll need to add to get a 120. While installing the 113 kit I added a shit load of extra parts. In fact I have added all the S/E you can buy right down to the clucth. I wanted a bullet proof motor. I've shopped around looking for parts, but what I can't find is someone that has done this before. Anyone know anyome thats done or looking at doing this???

Plus I'm looking at going to the Cobra Fi2000 autotuner. Your thoughts on on ot those??

Heres a list of parts needed for my upgrade

    1. 4060' Stoker

    2. Pistons

    3. Oil Jets

    Hi Gaza,
Thinking of doing the 120 upgrade from my 110 down the track. I only need 4 parts (but that's 2.5K)
At 113 already, you don't need pistons and barrels, just the 4-5/8" crank (although they do list different 4.060 pistons for that crank).
Then its just a matter of whether you change out cases (I am) and do the timken bearing change and any other add ins like cams & tune (sounds like you have it all already). About 15 hours labour and you are there.....
Stix is certainly running one of the best #'d 120s around, not sure if it is all SE or a mixture.
What sort of #s you getting from your 113?

Yeah I do need to change my Pistons it's the same barrels just a different stoke.

Sorry to say but I think you have a bigger hill. Read the Screamin Eagle Parts Catalog Heres a link download it

    http://www.harley-davidson.com/wcm/Content/Pages/Racing/screamin_eagle_parts.jsp

go to page 66. That will tell you what heads and pistons you need. If you are going for the S/E Crank Case Set. You would be better getting a Race Kit upgrade and buying a crank case. F%%k it will cost. What the best price you can get a crate motor for??. I just met a guy that has a 2011 CVO Street Glide which motor has had add a S/E 110 upgrade. He just brought a crate 120R

I got a 116HP with 106 TQ with my 113. That good but I want to break the 130 HP line !

Hi Gaza, already well down the road, running full Stage IV 110 kit in my Xbones, so only need the 4 bits for 120!!! 111HP and 113TQ at 5750rpm currently.

I will not bother with a 120R, rather when I do the 120 bottom end, I then have all the parts to remake a warm 110 short motor to sell on or use in another bike.

Let us know how you go with your build, 130 ponies is not easy to get (despite what the SE graphs say).

Your 2 cents a good say.

A 120R would/should get me at least closer to the 130HP mark, aim high. Dont fuck around !! Yes you are right I could hit 120hp. Change my cams to Woods Performance cams been reading some amazing shit about them. Yeah but thats always after the fact. If I went back to day one I would have a  different motor set up then what I have now (I'll save that for my next build). This build has cost me, but way less the if I brought say a S&S 124 or did a mix and match motor.

I'm not that happy with my Dyno tune. This is not the USA where if you look hard you can find a realy good tuner. I have returned my bike saying I'm not happy with the tune. It was running rich in low revs. I could smell fuel when starting my motor. With a Cobra I remove that man from the picture. So every time I change a major part, new tune!!  Shit a SERT dyno's not cheap.

    Hay Macka,
The 266e and MVA Heads (same as 120R Heads) are std with a 113 kit as is the 4.060' pots and 58mm throttle body. I added all the Screamin Eagle parts such as Tappets, Roller Rockers, Rocker Supports, Cam Support Plate, heavy duty Compensator, S/E Clutch and high tension head studs. You could say I went a bit over board.
I spoke to a few dealers asking about upgrading to a 120R and was told it was way to much trouble, bullshit!! it just had never been done before so was all new and untested. So with all this I needed only Pistons, Oil jets and stoker, sounds simple doesn't it. I have done a lot of homework on this. I just hope it all comes together and doesn't blow up.

I love the rumble my bike make with those 266E cams. I've matched my motor to a set of V&H 2 into1 Pro Chrome Pipes. These give it a really low rumble, a heavy bass sound

I might get 125HP+ if I had a Dyna motor or removed my counter balancer. I've heard of guys doing this to their bikes and getting those numbers, but  drag race only. I'm not a fan of Suppertrapp's there was a set of 2-1's on a CVO Dyna I was looking at buying they didn't sound good. Plus the V&H pipes I have are what I think are the best choice. I have not read or heard anything bad about them.

TTS: the last thing I want to do is get into my ECU and have me doing reprogramming. I had a my bike at a guy that has his own dyno set up a year ago doing  a power run. He went though the whole thing showing me how my tune set up and whats what etc... I was lost. This is something I'll leave to the experts. Thats why I was looking at a auto-tuner.

I have ordered the parts and they are on their way to me. So saying I could use so and so's cam's or heads etc is too late. It's taken me a lot of humming and haaing to get to this point. So I just had to bite the bullet and make a choice and if it's the wrong one I'll sort that out if it ever comes up (cross fingers)

Heres  cam reading of a 120R from a guy in States. The 266e stack up better, but it's just a personal choice. I bet if I look around I could find reading saying the TMan were better.
    SE 266 127.61 hp133.68tq.
    tman 662-2 123.50hp130.49 tq.
    uncorreted se266 128.45hp 134.57 tq
    uncorrected 662-2 125.86hp 132.99 tq

the 120r motor complete has 10.5 c.r. with 266e cam's ,   if you buy the 120r kit  you can have the 10.5.c.r. with what ever cam you like  @ 10.5 c.r

.i would shave & mod the heads to 11.4 c.r.   ,    or hotter is the race pistons @ 12.to 1 comp with the RX  660 lift cam  it depends what you want out of her, we race the kitted 120r with the 12 cccccccccccccccc.r. pistons modified + comp   RX cam etc  can't tell you everything as this bike is   Aus fastest (all harley ) harley  & still run's  the strip @ a record @ 10.31 sec e.t @ 132 m.p.h. can go better as this was my 1st race meeting on her.   has  144 h.p. with 139 f.t. big T,   pull's  the standing 60ft time in 1.54 sec on stock tyres bike is all stock harley dyna wideglide it eats jap bike for breakFAST, have done 2,000 klm's running her in on the streets , i love her what a real motorbike & the noise out the exh is something else

    watch you lic point's disapeerhopefullynotall@once

Shit yeah, now thats what I mean 144 hp!!.

What size throttle body are you running. What mods were done to the heads.I saw a set come back from mod's last week and was told they couldn't get much more out of them from what they were.

it's a  S/E 58 m.m. throttle body  the heads are the S/E cnc,  but i went back over them & ported & polished  & modified & played with the c.ratio,      as well as the inlet manifold  & the throttle body ported & polished about 3-4 weeks hard  work,  with my own work on the heavy breather as well,         i also done the same the the 113 c.i. as well  this bike runs the stock header pipes with stock modified mufflers  135 hp @ 129ft t  runs best 10.4 sec 1/4 mile @ 127 mph it's a  street bob on stock tyres , we have both modified 120R & 113 both are great bike's  i love racing them both but there's no answer for the power of the 120R it's like having sex  & then making love  all @ once , the race is like having sex then on the way back to the pits i fall in love with her,  they both turn me on but the 120R is like having sex with a super model i just never want to get off her & she can pull harder than any bitch i ever meet,  racing a fast bike is like having sex it's 1 of the better things in life

yes , why not get the best out of her  , if i didn't she would be only as fast as the next bike  the 120R that we race is Australia's fastest all Harley Harley even on stock tyre's street reg'd  10.3 sec 1/4 mile time

if they are S/E CNC ported heads for the street they will be good enough  & the comp & cam is a good set-up. they will be good enough for street use only if you want  Max  , it depend's what you use the bike for really , the stock 113 with CNC head's go's great  10.6 @ 125 mile time's @ the drags not too bad for stock tyres & stock exh & muffler's

Well the motors coming out next week to add the stoker and pistons. I'm just waiting on the stoker seems they have got onto backlog. So with a bit of time to play with and a bit of money I decided to buy Holley 2 x 10oz nos kit and a right side bake caliper giving me twin front brake.
What the advantage with the Hurricane heads and xp cams bigger throttle body not keen on the 12:5:1 pistons you can pick up these upgrade kits for say 2300.000 us in the us. Just shit I'm thinking about

Works been slow as I was mucked around on the stoker. I have decided to add a Holley twin 10oz Nos kit while all this work is been done. Put twin caliper brakes on the front. Should be on the road in 2 more weeks.Knock on wood
