Has anyone bought a conversion kit from these guys? Ive been tossing up between getting a roller going, and found these conversion kits. They look sensational, and are priced really well. www.bitterendchoppers.com/

Any thoughts???? Im wondering if I would get stung for import tax?

check xlforums, I'm not sure if you would like the results. If memory serves correct, not all of the frames are that straight. But if you're ok with that, the prices can't be beat.

found it. There's other threads where stuff was fine. But not this guys, apparently. And with us being so far away, if there is dramas, it'll be a right pain in the arse to get sorted.

Will do. Have read a few good reviews of these blokes. Would rather keep cash local if its poss. Looks like a decnt kit though.

I got this kit and doing the frame was a piece of cake just add extra guesses at the lower part of the frame and some where it joins at the backbone. Also get some solid slugs made too hammer into the frame as it just comes with two smaller bits of pipe too weld too.I will add some pics of mine once everything is spot welded and I strip it for final welding and smoothing of the frame before powdercoat
