Lookin at trying the SEPST myself as the TTS won't work on the 2012 Dynas. Apparently I will be able to copy and paste all my TTS tables over.
Burto.
Judging on the amount of time they have already spent on the '11 Softies, I don't hold a lot of hope for anything real soon.............Had to bight the bullet and go with the pro tuner, I will need at first a map for my 2-1 pipes, which I am having new 12mm o2 bungs installed this week.
Then the heads and cams to follow in the next few weeks.
Doubt that I'll be doing much tuning with it for now Hilly...........just need a means to transfer an existing map to the bike. As long as it runs as good as before, which it should as it will be exactly the same build, then I will leave it at that.
Never know what the future may hold though I spose!
There are a lot of ways to tune a bike and get good results, and for the DIYer it is good enough. But for those contemplating the SESPT because they've heard its the best tuning device ever invented but want to make an informed decision, here is what some of the better tuning pros have to say about it: "After the ''Dumb Tune'' is finished and stored in the VCI and you go back to look at the stored map you will find the VE's along with the timing changed from what you set it. WTF. The DumbTune also tunes at 14.68 as a target, this has to be real good on your engine......when using this on a dyno you hold the throttle at the rpm and kpa area being tuned and count to 4, this is what Harley says to do, however if you ever did a V-Tune and watch the cell change from red to green you will see it takes at least 8 seconds to change....another duh...!!! Yes your right the TTS is much better and anyone that say you can get the same results with either tuner doesn't understand too much about these products..........the TTS is WAY better." "Just buy a tuning device that works as expected and doesn't take control of the tune so that work arounds do not need to be developed to end up with a decent running bike."
