Finally got a stock exhaust system for my imported from US FLHTC. So now time for unregistered vehicle permit and a RWC!

Anybody know of a reasonable RWC station in the Frankston/ Mornington area? I'm not looking for a dodgy RW, just want to deal with someone reasonable. I asked at a local Jap bike shop, and the bloke started going on about needing an Engineer's report as well. He didn't look too impressed when I told him a) it was a Harley and b) it was 1987 so would only need a rwc for rego.

Give these guys a buzz and ask who they would use for a rwc in your area.

My missus had a minor stroke just after I posted this, so things were on hold for a while.......
Pretty good now, so went to Top gear mc's, and he took a look at the bike, saw it had an oil leak (actually oil in the air cleaner from the oil pump breather) and didn't want to touch it. I got the impression he didn't think he would make any money out of it, and he said I'd be best to take it to the stealers- Peter Stevens, or Black Dog Customs, who I can't find listed anywhere.
So I'll have to fix the air cleaner/ oil leak before I do anything.
Anyone know what PS are like for RWC's?

Thanks, Dave. I'll give him a bell today. To the best of my knowledge, all you need for rego is the RWC. Get an unregistered vehicle permit, find someone that will do a RWC, and make an appointment at Vicroads.
