G`day  has anyone ever put a  bigger front wheel on a 07 streetbob? bearing in mind the oem mid glide front end is there any dramas with wheel spacers or caliper shims ?or the need to change the gaurd position ? I also considered a complete wideglide front end from a later model aiming to keep the 49mm tubes any comments ,tips advice would be appreciated thanks

 Hi, we recently fitted a 21 inch wheel to the front of a 2008 street bob but we laced the 21 to the original street bob hub using stainless steel spokes. Worked out no worries, guard still fits and looks pretty good too.

(The 21' will work, but careful going to small on the width. Cookie cutter rubber is not good for handling. You will need to think about putting in a lowering kit in the front forks to help with the handling.) cheers FYO I was looking at putting on a standard off the shelf 21" Tyre like on the Softails my front Tyre at the moment is standard 19" 100x H90 I recon by choosing a 21" Tyre with a lower wall height from a H90 it should not make a drastic difference in handling
