Just wondering, what should be the Eng Oil temp be after a good run? Not a hard ride, but a 2 hr ride........100 kph

My Fatboy got to 112 deg C today. Is that too hot? If so, whats it gonna be like in summer????

What are your thoughts....how does that compare with yours?

mine doesn't get above 200F on a normal run. Whatevert that is in C I don't know but am happy with that temp. On A longer run on a cool day she sits around the 180 mark...

 

I've got a 2007 Street Bob and I've seen the temp up around 120-125 degrees....

 

so is 200 F ok or what ? I've got the factory service E book and theres nothing in it about oil temperature only what viscosity to use in relation to ambient or outside temperature nothing about operating temperature , my 2000 Deuce runs 175F - 200F I thought that was OK , am I wrong , should I worry ?

Nothing wrong with that mate. Start to panic when she starts to get around the 250 mark. Remember this is the temp from the oil in the tank. so it only a guide as such.
