Just wanted to let everyone know that my first grandchild arrived at 4.05am this morning by c-section - welcome Hudson Murray Kelly!!

He's also the first great grandchild for my dad - and he's over the moon!

A little tacker at 5lb 14, but absolutely gorgeous!!

Murray is a tradition (my sons middle name, my dads middle name, my grandfathers middle name) Hudson was just a name they liked and I reckon its a good strong name - I did say to them I didn't care what they called him, as long as it is spelt properly!! I reckon its a ripper!

As you can probably tell, I'm pretty stoked!

i like hudson too.  some of these older names that are getting a run these days are pretty cool.  better than hybrid made up one's that are all the rage.

Althoug I'm an (older) dad my oldest son is just 16 and the youngers son is 10 so I've got a ways to go before I'm one.

Thanks everyone, just got back from the hospital after holding him again for an hour or so. Isnt it amazing that you can just look at them, and them look at them some more.....
Geez, there are some big efforts on here thats for sure, I'm just a beginner!!

my old man used to say that the best thing about Grandchildren is that you can always give them back.... well except for Steamer... lol

I have a son 30 and daughter 27 and no grandkids and I like it that way.... way too young to be a grandfather, but each to their own. Hey I might be a dad again before I'm a grandad if a certain person get's her way... long story....

Congrats Mate  I have been a  great grandfather for 3 months, and my grandson  has 1 due in january
