does it say in the fitting instructions to change? Mine didn't although it is a 07 Softail.

I would like to check out how they work and maybe get some shims with a heavy spring ready for mine when it starts to play up. Steve from GMR is running the stock comp shimmed we no problems with 120/120 from what I have read.
