the question is... who stocks, sells, or deals in s & s motors in the briz coast area.. im having no luck.  rang a mob who claim to be near ipswich and have a full page add in the bike mags stating they sell to the public, only to be told they dont dell to the public..??

the did give me a number for the so called local dealer, and i rang him for a price on evo replacement motor and gearbox alternatives, he said hed get back to me and hasnt bothered, so i guess he doesnt like cash.

anyone know of anyone who wants the business and can supply????

Yep....have never dealt with Rollies but have only heard good stories about him ....sunshine coast harley had a S&S motor on dispaly cpl years back but dunno where they stand with S&S products these days.

I went to Rollies show last saturday and I know what ya mean about their f*ckin' phone!! I called constantly Thu & Fri but couldn't get through so I assumed it was a wrong number - and like so many places their web site lists EVERYTHING except a phone number.

But yeah, they have S&S and whenever I call in they're a big help and knowledable!

Also for S&S I'm pretty sure it's stocked at 'Harry's Custom Bikework' (07 3801 2702 and 0417 957 286) located at Loganholme next to the best Pie Shop on the Eastern seaboard - Syd's Pies.

 

 

Be careful, S&S warranty outside the US is doubtful and depends on the local dealer or importer. S&S do not have exclusivity for their importers and hence one importer will NOT provide warranty support for a motor imported by another. IF the importer refuses a warranty claim can basically forget it. One thing the S&S lifters are faulty design/assembly, they have admitted it (ask me how I know) and they only offer Crane lifter replacements. Those replacements do not always fit the lifter bore so allow the cost of replacement in your budget (an importer in Brisbane refused the claim and sent the bike home with faulty lifters!).

Basically S&S warranty are no better then Rev Tech and Ultima and may not even be as good??? The cheaper alternative my in fact be a better bet even factoring in the cost to tear it down and check it before installing it.
