G'day guys,
I'vd recently got myself a 2010 softail and am looking at the Vance & Hines big radius pipes and was wondering if there are any benefits between the 2 to 2 and the 2 to 1 pipes. Is one better than the other? I have a stage 1 air filter on the bike and S/E tuner. Do you guys recommend a set of pipes over the other?
Thanks in advance fellas

Had both, now 2x2 , crisper angrier note in my opinion, 2x1 was deeper and droned somewhat, matter of choice for looks, i dont think either do much for power but could stand corrected as usual
2 into 2 sound great
as said nice note loud when given a handfull
no issues with the coppers so far
same with others i know who have run them for years
2 into one lower deeper note
cheers fundi
I have had both on my Deluxe. The V&H 2-2 Staggered were loud and the V&H Pro Chrome 2-1 had a very deep sound. With the motor set-up you have now go with the 2-2, but if you ever upgarde your motor thats were the 2-1 come into their own.
Best you can get of the shelf, don't get to hung up on performance its a hog they are for cruising but you do need to change the stock pipes they are lame, I'd run 2 to 2 for the real vtwin sound 2 to 1 sound doesn't float my boat. And yes just stick with v and h they look good sound good and are not to pricey.
