Spot on Soapbox...solved my problem. Either that or highway pegs further forward. Also, a heel support on long rides helps with the calf muscles, but being able to move your foot position, usually forward & slightly out, usuallly helps. Good luck.

Ape hangers usually fix that problem...my theory is : with low bars, ya legs are forward and so is ya body, so ya folded ova .... with apes ya body is upright and ya back is straight.....i have low bars on the fatty and suffer the same, but have apes on the softy and dont have a problem. Will probly end up putting apes on the fatty.  Both bikes have forward control's.

Its like going for a jog. The more you do it, the less your legs will hurt. More riding required!

I changed my forwards to boards so then can move feet around where ever i need to. And by mounting using the original mount point My boards are slightly further forward than Say heritage boards.

i know its not the safest practice but i just stretch my legs fully forward and rest my calfs on the footrests for a stretch now and then
