I was staff at Sydney games with a pretty much open pass....That was the best time of my life but that was the atmosphere.....Dont give a toss about the games though...

Not too interested in them.  Im sure the tv might end up on it a few times but nothing Im actually going to follow.

Summer games only track and field but I watch winter olympics religiously.

ignoring the issues surrounding China, they certainly know how to turn on a show... by far the best opening I have seen , but I still hold the horsemen in Sydney as the single most memorable event of an opening....

Did anyone else here work at the Sydney Limpics??? Iwas with technology looking after the media at baseball making sure thier pics and vids transmitted ok back to thier respective agencies....Best job i ever had and just the feel of an Olympics with an open pass was great..I got to watch swimming from a porthole under the p[ool....drank piss with Clintons daughter and had the best time of my life....

i went to the opening of the sydney olympics, dress rehersal though ,still pretty good show
