Just had one....On the way home along the freeway sitting just above the 110 speed limit  I went to overtake a car, took it up to 120 and as I moved back into the left lane the bike started pulling to the right. I moved my body weight  to the left  to correct it, then it took off to the left . Shit what the fuck is wrong....Fuck flat front tyre at 120...shit shit shit...fuck fuck fuck..slow down slow down Grabbed front and rear brakes, but not to hard, shit let the front brakes go,  kept the back on, slow down bitch. It went left then right, just keep it in a straight line, shit I'm gunna drop it, I'm gone. Slow down bitch, stop stop, thank fuck for that I'm still upright, stopped and the bikes on the stand. The hearts pump'n like you wouldn't belive.

Why did it go flat, like instantly was what was going through my mind , before I got onto the freeway I went through a few roundabouts ,all good no worries and a right hander onto the freeway and all was good. About 5 km's up the road the thing was flat, it was like a blowout without the pop, it went flat with no warning....Mate scary as at 120.....

yeh I had one like that many years ago too.
I was on a 900 Bol D'Or and I hit a bit of recently done roadworks at night that had no signage.
On the next corner the front wheel let go without warning.
My pillion broke her arm, the bike took about $1000 of damage [and it was only about 4K new]

So what do you do if you get a flat like that (and manage to stop and not go arse over), do you just park it and get it towed? I can't say I've had a flat yet but would be nice to know what to do...

I've got mag wheels so I carry a tyre plug kit and a small M/C compressor about the size of a packet of smokes. Very slow to pump up but gets me home without parting with any hard earned.

I had a fully modded R6 a couple of years ago that was an absolute weapon in the twisties and had a tyre delaminate and shred itself to nothing while i was committed to a corner at 130kph. Nothing you can do but stand the bike back up, run wide off the road and hope for the best.
