Yeah...thanks. I understood what you were getting at. I think I'll be going with TTS...and might even try using a combo of my 'car' wideband unit and just monitor and 'tweak' the VE tables on the bike (I'll weld in a couple of extra bungs for the WBO2's).
Been reading ALOT tonight over there on the HTT forum. Some interesting tuning ideas there. I'm guessing these bikes don't run a MAF (Mass Air Flow sensor) so technically aren't a real 'fully' closed loop setup.
More a 'Semi open' loop setup using just the O2's to adjust fuelling around stoich and I expect MAP and TP to decide when to go into PE or open loop?
Can't wait to get a look at the tuning software and see just what's available in the way of datalogging ability and what tables/settings are there to 'play' with. Lol!
Don't know if the bike stuff is anything like the car stuff (but assume the same...basically..especially as they're using Delphi PCM/ECM modules). There are about 2000 parameters in my chev's tune....of which we can only see around 500 (I believe). I don't see any mention of 'dynamic' fuelling (basically acts like a carby 'pump shot' to eliminate/minimize lean tip in's on throttle crack/stomp apllications in an EFI tune...more important with FI than NA)....which I find VERY intriguing and seems to most to be an 'unknown' quantity.
I'll keep digging. Lol! Can't wait to get the bike.
