Anyone got details for this years event?
Hey Flan, will you be taken the big truck?
PS: Pearcy, can't let ya ride on ya own.
I'm playing in the band on Saturday arvy, Circus Mule. We played up there 'bout 4yrs ago on the Friday night. Looking forward to it this year. Seems the only chance i get to rallys is to play at 'em.
Second that.... French doors, roller door, all the same to me. I'm gettin the chainsaw out before she gets back.
Your not like, planing a massacre or something like that are ya? If ya are, there's only 3 people attending and i won't be the Bassist in the band on the Saturday arvo. It's a good rally missy. Plenty of good alcohol, food, merch tents and company there
Did someone say QUIET !!!! not with me an Granny goin....... ....... And that Evo bloke...... Look forward to havin a few QUIET drinks with ya.
Cheers Baz
Be''in a Bar wench Friday, So were goin to get there before lunch on Saturday.
Well last year 1400 bodies were there and a great time had by all.
Me and mate will be leaving Thursday morning from leppington pub at 8.00am. Staying at Wauhope motel then out to the rally Friday morning.
Look for me as I'll be wearing a beat up old olive drab Akruba and of cause Rowdy Mob Cruisers patch. See you all there and DONT LET THE WEATHER SCARE you away.
Went up to Long Flat, Granny and Baz came with me, as i was playing there, i had to take the car, Baz had the whole back of the "Magic Bus" to herself. Burra, Pearcy i didn't think, you guys could've rode to my place and came up for the day with us. Scar was gunna come but his Missus is crook, (hope Ronnie's feeling better soon mate). Anyway, torential rain at times from my place to the Oxley. I'm thinking, "this is gunna be good" very sarcastically. We arrived on site, rain stopped, still very overcast though. Muggy as well. We set up, little rainy showers, at times. We started playing Billy Thorpes "Most People", the sun came out, (Billy must've been happy) rain stopped for the rest of the arvy it was great. It was great to run into Flan and Evo again. Granny and i are thinking of a run up north to visit with Evo, maybe in the new year, just a weekend run. Maybe leave on a Friday and back Sunday. Just a thought!!!!!!!! Anyway, numbers where down at rally this year (due to the weather of cause), but who where there had a great time. We finished our gig at 5pm, i wanted to catch some of the 2nd band, but they took so long to set up, we had to leave. Granny and Baz where great company, thanks for coming for the drive you two pair. I gotta mention, as we where approaching Long Flat, Granny's got his head out the window getting it wet, so he could say he rode in the rain. Hahahaha good one Granny
Onya FBM,
Thanks for the report. Glad ya had great company on the way up and back with Baz & Granny.
Ahhhh, ya saw the Flanman and Evo. Fantastic.
If you and Granny ride north to meet them two fellas deal me in, please.
Notwithstanding the rain,it was a great weekend. Rode through and in the rain on Friday down to Bello, sat on the verandah at Casa Flan's, enjoyed a beer or three and a top home cooked meal. Next day, caught up with a few of the local lads and rode through and in the rain down to Long Flat. Caught up with Bazz, Granny and FBM, great to see you folks again as always. They headed off late on Sat arvo as we became ensconced in camp, I think Bazz has a great photo of our camp site. Numbers were way down and overall, thought this years rally was pretty disappointing. FBMs band were brilliant but opinions on the last band would depend on how much alcohol had been consumed. Sunday, it was pack up and piss off time. I rode with the boys back up to Walcha and parted company with them there. Came home via Glen Innes. Major accident just north of Tenterfield, probably happened about 10 minutes before I got there. Had to backtrack and go down some dirt roads to get around the accident (thanks to the local for the info). The further north I got, the hotter it go. Was glad to pull into home, park the ol girl under the trees and sit in the shower for 10 minutes. Scoreshee Rally 6/10, Ride 10/10 and the company was brilliant. Had more clowns than Ringling Bros Circus, pissed myself laughing all weekend. Gotta thank the big whiskas bloke for his hospitality and thanks to the boys for the ride and the laughs.
