Sorry fellas, can't make this one.

Would love to go to Karumba, but with the missus due any day with number 2, I cannot leave Mount Isa.

42 and Humid is about average up there, but it never seems that hot inside the sunset tavern with a coldy in ya hand

Have a good trip, look forward to the photos.

Trev, I'd be more likely to say Fuck Lawn Hills until next year because if you get stuck up there its usually a plane ride out, the road is always okay from the Gregory back through Burke and Wills and then on to the Curry but there is a lot of dirt from the Gregory to Lawn HIills.

Trev, if your off to Lawn Hills on the 29th Oct I might still go to Karumba and hopefully will have the new Switchback all set up with the new pipes, bars and sissy bar and luggage rack so will take it for a ride to Karumba otherwise I just take the old wideglide.

We may need to organise another ride later so you & Di can sample Karumba.

I'll check with the Tavern Monday and make sure we can still get served with drinks and meals, I usually book into Ash's Holiday units just opposite corner to the Tavern so I'll see if I can get in there, they have great Barra fillets and meals as well at their cafe.

Trev,We're booked into Ash's holiday units in unit 3 and 4 for the 29th October, the Tavern holds the weddings out side or else they will block off an area so people can still get meals and drinks.

Fellas, just to let you know, the missus delivered naturally a baby boy, Lachlan David, at 5:34 pm today weighing in at 3.59 kg or 7 pound 14 ounces and measuring 54cm.

Both mum and bub are doing well.

We are shut for the rest of the week but will try and catch up with you at some point!
