OMG I just adjusted them and the difference is unbelievable ,It is a different bike now ,wish I had of done this ages ago .
Ive gone 3 notches up so far but I might go back to two ? dunno gotta try some roads .
and I dont know if its my imagination but the big fat sexy front tyre doesnt feel so heavy now ,I noticed this when i avoided a pot hole with way way more responsiveness .
if anyone knows of any problems I may encounter from adjusting up my rear shocks please feel free to let me know ...preferably before I hit the mountains
cheers
p.s I suggest any one with stock rear shocks on their 48 go out and adjust them up at least one notch as this made an imediate improvement for me ,Im 5'11" @70 kgs .

Its a very good read.
First thing I did on day 1 was play with the shocks - with some locked vice grips (free!)... gotta get something with better rebound still.
I left it set to best handling (firm/low) and added the solo saddle (was looking to anyway)... bonus little bounce from the seat springs in that save the kidneys on pot holes.
