    Hey Guy's,

I am looking at purchasing a new ride, But unsure of who to speak with for the best deal

Ive spoke with the major banks, & they are not interetsed as i have a default on my credit report from a $400 phone bill 2 years ago! :-/..    God Dammit...   All i want is a new bike, Ive got a good paying job no other debts, Bloody Frustrated!

Anyone have any idea's or contacts??    Any suggestions would be appreciated,

    Cheers,

Try Esanda, they don't take defaults as hard as others do. You will pay a higher interest rate though.

Don't they have brokers like cars do? When you go and buy a car the dealer will contact a guy who goes and finds someone to lend the money to you - when he finds someone he'll tell you what the interest rate is etc and its up to you to sign on the bottom line.

Banks are fucking nuts when lending - a while back we couldn't get $2000 for a computer, but they would loan us up to $25,000 on a car.

Another option (which sucks I know) is to save the cash?? Im self employed, so I dont even bother with asking the banks... bit the bullet and saved, paid outright in cash on the day I picked it up.

Screw the banks and their interest.

Scouser - I am not doubting you, but unless things have changed - I had a record removed. A company put me on when I moved house and they couldn't find me. When they did, and I paid it, they went back in and removed it for me.

The CRA removed an item placed on by the Commonwealth Bank. The bank added a record stating that I owed them money on a loan from 5 years previous. I had proof that I paid it in full. Sent it to the CRA whom sent me a letter back saying that they asked CBA for proof that I owed it. CBA didn't produce the docs, so CRA removed the record and sent me a copy of my file to prove it.

That was about 8 years ago - so maybe things have changed. We were going for a home loan at the time and without getting them removed, we had no hope.

I have been self employed for 16 years and never had an issue. I have 2 cars, my bike and house etc - all financed! Plus the usual credit card etc.

Once you build a relationship with a financier, it generally goes well after that.

When I went for the coin for the Fatty, they didn't even ask me for financials. I just signed the contract and bough the bike within 48 hours.
