From a newbie so far so good on my FXDSE.
Solved one problem on the RHS clearance for my leg by buying a SE Heavy breather. Now the problem is the fcuking cowbell horn is digging into my left calf and it is p!ssing me off as I have to remove my leg from the peg to change down gears. Not that safe.
My question is what are my choices to either move or replace the horn. Or am I barking up the wrong tree and should I be looking at different (wider) forward controls or will I lose clearance?
Thanks
Clubbie
Here's one option;

Cowbell issue,
Hiya mate,
Dismantle the cowbell and salvage the bracket and horn. Underneath the battery box there is a centrally placed screw, use this as the mounting point. I cut the bracket to fit into the space where the screw is. I ran the wiring from the original postion, spliced in the extra length needed then threaded it through fuel hose to protect it from engine heat and cable tied it to tidy the job up. Presto, no visible horn from either side unless you look for it.

Deadwood thanks for the thread link. I like the Lenale fan idea as well. But that will probably have the same leg/calf clearance issues. Nice ute in the avatar BTW.
Lee sounds like a simple and brilliant idea.
Thanks for the quick responses.
