Mustang lists cnc and blackbird as their Melbourne distributor ,I rang ,both had to order them in from the states and both put 30+ dollars on top .
    Ill check out m&m ,cheers.

    are they in Aus ?

48, I wish I could help you out. I have ridden quite a few harleys in recent years. Every time my bike goes in for a service they lend me a different bike. The last one I rode was. a 48. That felt very firm almost like a leather spring seat. To me the mustang vintage solo is also firm but not quite as firm as the 48. It is quite wide but the shape tends to keep you firmly in the seat. I am very happy with it. The seat height is a tad higher than my stock seat and the seating position places you slightly back. It also is not so tough on your spine going over bumps. Maybe some of the others could tell you their thoughts on the vintage solo. I have only had mine a few days so not sure if it will feel any different after a month or so.

48fan, I am sure you will be happy with the seat. I have just realized that I did not make it clear in my reply that the difference in seating position was my experience comparing the mustang vintage seat to my stock seat on my 1200 custom sportster not the 48 stock seat. It might be worth shooting an email to mustang seats direct to confirm that is still the case comparing it to the stock 48 seat.

I hope I have not given the wrong advice.
