Went for a ride with a few mates today one on his new Sportster Iron, and bloody hell his bike goes well not like my old EVO 883 which was a good bike but truthfully was a bit slug at hi-speed.

My mates bike is still stock he is waiting for a set of pipes to arrive, but damm that bike goes hard even in stock condtion, ahhh times have changed with these new EFI bikes can't wait to see how hard it hammers with pipes and a better air cleaner  fitted, starting to miss my Sportster, hmmm might start looking at a Iron cheers.

Yep Sporties are very underated, the 1200 will blow a stock Twin Cam off any day, Sporty has a much better engine setup in my opinion.

Love my Sporty and agree with Rocky, the Sporties are highly underrated!! This is the third bike I've owned (GSXR1000 and Ducati Monster) and arguably the best I've owned to date!!

I'll second that! After CB750 (in my early days) GSX750 and Supermotard (XT660X) I am really happy with the Iron and having a ball on it!

Shhhhh, we don"t want everyone to know how much fun a sporty can be, some like driving a cadillac, some prefer a camaro thats how it is northey
