    Macka,

Not off a normal Softail, but the dash panel off a Softail Deuce will fit, its the same tank as the Rocker

If noone else can help you try Chopperworks in Brisbane, they use this dash quite a bit on Rockers

I dont think Harley would sell them anymore as they delete parts pretty quick once a model is superseded.

    Good luck

Yep, ideally I'd like an 07 deuce tank with the lot

I want to repaint the bke at some stage and can't bring myself to paint over the stock tank, and like the smooth sides without the recess for the tank badges

Found the panels in the US, still available new.
Anyone know the difference between an FXSTD & FXSTDI? Any tank difference?

Fxstd stands for early carby Deuce fxstd"i" stands for injected-the maun difference i can tell is carby has 2 fuel ports at rear of tank "i"has only 1 -shouldn't effect top of tank -ie trim piece.

    Macka-
i think the tanks are the same ,but the dash is very different-Deuce 5" speedo & ignition under it as per u r pic -Rocker is i think 4" speedo & no ignition under instrument, meaning deuce trim trim would be way short of rocker, but a rocker one may be able to be trimmed for a deuce.
It may also be a slightly different shape.
I think you better take some measurements-safest way is to make a cardboard cutout that suits your bike & see what it looks like on the other model.

hey macka, thats a top job u have done there, was wondering if you could tell me how much lower speedo now sits. Reason being is that i have tried to fit a 2 inch tank lift kit to my rocker and on full lock standard speedo hits on bars, (Burleigh Roller) Im thinkin this mod may be the resolution. Does console bolt straight on without any mods? Does all gauges and lights work properly? and is all wiring in place for tacho ect.

Thanks Macka, your unreal, If you could give me an overall height from tank to top of speedo it would be greatly appreciated, and would save me a $600 dissapoinment.

mackas a bloody genius.lol not a bad set up considering $600. and look at the results. looks heaps better than the standard. just a silly question, if i had diamond back cables, they fit into the setup ok? i dont need extra cable for tacho? u said plug and play so i assume the list posted by macka is everything, bar the actual speedo.

hey macka, the acc, ign under the screamin eagle insignia consule, do they light up on the new set up? how did u get access to the old one to take it off? i assume the kit u got for the new one came with fitting instructions? im gunna do myself so ill need a guide so i dont completely screw it up

Hey macka, i ordered my bits last week, any chance of measuring the height when u get a chance, i still think im gonna have contact issues with bars when i install tank lift kit, but none the less it will be good having a tacho.
