    Rockers Ride 2011

    Date: Sunday 6th November 2011
    Location: Harry's Cafe de Wheels, 890 Princes Hwy, Tempe NSW
    Time: 8:15 AM
    Bikes: Lots of very cool bikes and scooters

    The TON-UP-BOYS motorcycle club proudly present this year's 'Ride With The Rockers 2011' on Sunday, 6th November.

    This year being the 15th consecutive annual rally for the club that has been established since the early nineties for like minded enthusiasts of classic bikes and the 50's rocker sub culture.

    The day will begin at 8.15am at Harry Café De Wheels - Tempe, for the casual group ride of classic bikes and scooters heading south via the National Park and for a brief stop at Bald Hill, before returning up Bulli Pass and the old Pacific Hwy.

    The day will continue on back at the Jets Club at Tempe for the lunch break and the informal classic bike and scooter display, from 1pm. This will continue with the after ride party presented by Barfly promotions, featuring Rocker and Mod bands & special guest DJ's spinning the best in 50's and 60's tunes. All welcome. Door charge $5

    Anyone else thinking of tagging along to this?

    I just wouldn't want to put a cat amongst the pidgeons being one of the few Harleys in attendance.

    Scooters Rule

    We will be going to take a look at some of the old bikes & scooters which will be there.

    Harleys are vintage, even the new ones. They haven't changed much in over 105yrs :-)

    Well I might venture to Tempe for one of dem pies 

    then a Captains Cook at the Skooots and the gals.

    Its not only the Scoots you'll be contending with but I'm pretty sures its the Sydney to Gong bicycle ride is on and that will cause mayhem............

    I was never gonna ride cause got some commitments later in the morning.

    But still might turn up for a Captains Cook and take a few snap shots.....maybe.

    The roller coaster of life got in the way and I didn't make it to Tempe to snap any pics.
