Not sure about that year, but you can buy a "reach seat" that will bring you forward a decent amount.

I've got a 2005 superglide sport & LOVE IT.
Of all the bikes i've owned over the years & there have been plenty, this is in the top 3.
+1 on the reach seat or you can also get a kit to move the controls back a touch.
You won't regtret it.
