I know this has been covered a few times, but im looking at putting a Screamin Eagle Heavy breather on my 99 lowrider. It currently runs a K&N filter under the football cover, not sure if its a SE backing plate as there are no markings on it that indicate its anything other than the stock plate (bought the bike used). I like the sound of better leg clearance, as i have forward controls, but im wondering, will i notice anything performance wise assuming its a stock inlet backing plate currently on the bike? I have Screamin Eagle slip ons, but everything else is stock. On a side note, how does the heavy breather compare to the S&S teardrop air cleaner? (performance and leg clearance)
