    Hi ,

    I am looking for rear shocks for my 07 deuce.

    Fournales -good but expensive + need servicing every couple of years-& if they leak no suspension-same as shot gun ,legend etc

    Straight spring shock -works performance ,progressive-not that adjustable -mixed reports???

    Progressive airtail-seem to apeal -spring & air -kinda a win & a place-& if air leaks they go up not down & u still have aspring.

    Ant comments or advice appreciated.

    Cheers Wayne

    Hey wayne
    ive had the Progressive airtail on my 2006 night train for about 4 years now
    i originally had the bike lowered 2" when i bought it but wife did nothing but complain how rough it was now niether of us are exactly small so this might of had something to do with it
    anyway the airtail has been great a built in gauge so u can get the same settings ech time for solo or two up and u can alter the ride height up or down quite noticeably
    and most of all no complaining from behind :}
    never had a fault from the system as in air leaks electrical etc

    Thanks 4 that Blaze-do you have the onboard compressor as well?

    Is dampening & height control separate & does suspension harden up when u lower it ,do you loose travel when lower & get travel when fully raised?
    thanks Wayne

    i have the on board compessor  and there is a 2 switchs on the side panel ..one for raising the bike for height and the other for lowering

    so altering preload and travel  heres the link to a more in depth answer lol

    and yes when i lower it down i lose travel and its rock hard .
