Hey all , Iv'e got wide mid western bars (1M) on my 96 flstn and whilst i love'em round town and on shorter rides i end up feeling like a fuck'n  wind sock on the longer runs.

Was thinking of experimenting with some other bars but not sure of whats available , I did have to put the standard bars on to get over the pits when i got the bike , but they looked shite and felt the same.

So what have you got on yours and why do ya like'm ?

Have to take a trip down to the dealer to see whats available .

I am running 1 1/4 westerns with 6 inch risers and have no drama's what so ever on runs.

I think my bars are called Beach bars and they are wide, but on long trips I run the screen and it stops that wind sock problem.

i have burleigh 1 1/2 mid western and very happy with them

Cheers for the info fella's . After lookin at those last 2 pics i might keep the bars and try a screen for the longer runs.

That way i'll have the best of both worlds.
