Hello there everyone, this may have been covered already, but as yet I have not found it, I am contemplating a set of 2 into one pipes on a 2012 Heritage Softail Classic. I am thinking of ordering the bike around the end of this year, not that far away now either. I am new to the Harley scene and I am looking for a few upgrades to make on the bike when I order it, and the salesman suggedted I use 2 into 1 pipes, from Vance and Hines from memory. I am looking at a heavy breather, and tuner (Screamin Eagle) I am looking at low to mid range power, can anyone give me some ideas.

I'd save your money until you get the bike and ride it for a while. The motor should be the new 103 balanced, so wait and see what comes out for them. The 103 has ample grunt out of the box. People were paying big bucks to upgrade their 96's to 103's a couple of years ago, now they are going to be stock. Maybe a set of slip ons is all you need with no other mods. I've got pipes only on mine (SG 103) and it goes very well.
