Hi can anyone help me out i have an 09 standard (96 cube) and it has an engine noise that i think is coming from front near oil filter that sounds like something is running dry and am a bit concerned that it might be something serious has anyone heard this noise or having similar  problem as i think it started at about 7500 ks and seems to get louder the hotter it gets when out riding

Check the comp nut, it may have come loose common issue.

Gotta be a lot more specific mate...Is the bike still under warranty? has it had mods, cams etc? What oil in engine, primary, gear box? levels OK?

Obviously no low oil light on dash!!!

Noise when bike stationary or under load? Are things tight, engine in frame, Air Cleaner cover, tank to frame, exhaust to heads, heat shields to pipes...Even a simple heat shield jubilee clip undone at exhaust pipe can make a racket.

If bike under warranty take it to a dealer and get them to test ride it...

2nd that BT, I chased a rattle I was sure was either pinging or some sort of valve noise, turned out to be loose exhaust baffle vibrating and conduction noise right up the header.

Check torque settings on all the ancillary items BT mentioned and if that all checks out then you could look into the primary.
