Went for a ride the other day & my mate told me my brake light was stuck on.

So when I got home I checked it out, I started by checking wiring harness under seat, then had a poke around the front brake switch then rear switch.

Couldnt see anything obvious though, so it's got me!

I pulled up the fault codes & what came up was B1126 which is RIGHT TURN OUTPUT SHORT TO BATTERY but the indicators work fine???

Anyone else had this problem & got it sorted??

 

What bike? If it has the front brake switch check if your lever is returning all the way back to depress the switch inside the handle.

09 Night Train.. yeah did that even took brake lever off & checked it

i had the same problem a few weeks back .

from time to time you need to bend forward the hand lever tab that pushes the small switch button in.(it bends with ware and tear)

also when you put it back together make sure it lines up, test before tightening.

 

 

Had the same problem on a Road King. Globe was jiggling in the socket. Might be a long shot, but easy to check.
